We left Detroit at 08:00 in the morning. We headed to Waterloo State Park. The trip took us about 2 hrs. It took us even longer to find where exactly we wanted to pitch our tent. We found out that Waterloo is divided into 4 campsites. We decided to start hiking from Sugarloaf Campground to Portage Campground.
The hiking trip took us about 8:00 hours.
After we arrived in Portage Campground, we just fix supper and went to bed. We were tired.
Oh ya, we met our neighbor, a young couple from Washington. Patrick and Stephanie. They were looking for a place to live in Ann Arbor. They are nice people. Maybe because Patrick had been overseas, that he liked to talk to strangers. He had been in the Phillipines. He said that he'd love to come back there.
