Ghostly Evening at Green Lake

June 11, 1994, 23:06 EDT

Guess what? I am off to the woods again. After approx. 6 moths of absence, I am here again, in the wild. This time I'm alone again. Somehow I think the others are too busy /w their monotonous (sp?) life. I tried to check /w my friends but they manage to turn down my invitation. Here I am at Green Lake again.

The sun set down at +/- 21:00 and the temperature is holding at approx. 70F. Green Lake is full of campers. I hope a lot of them will go tomorrow.

Anyway, I feel I am free again. Open sky and fresh air seem to free my mind from whatever it is I got from being surrounded by concrete buildings in Detroit.

Well, I am lonely again here. Maybe this is because I am such a maverick, or maybe it is just the way it is in America. Well, whatever it is, this is a good reason to pack up and leave as soon as I finish school.

I'll worry about it later. In the meantime, I'll watch the night falls casting ghostly images all around my campground.
